Acupuncture Increases In-Vitro Fertilization Pregnancy and Live Birth Rates
This is a meta-study of 1366 women who had in vitro fertilization. The women were divided into groups. One group received phony or sham acupuncture and the other group received real acupuncture. The researchers concluded with a 95% confidence rate that the group which received acupuncture given with embryo transfer, definitely improved the rates of pregnancy, and of live births among women undergoing in vitro fertilization.
