:: Treatment Approaches ::
Body
& Mind Integration
Dr. Martin uses a holistic approach to health, analyzing and diagnosing
problem areas and symptoms from a broad perspective. Using the
framework of classical homeopathic medicine and traditional Chinese
medicine, his approach is to analyze all symptoms of imbalance in the
body and the mind together. He appropriately integrates Western medical
diagnostic techniques as well.
Acute
Problems
Under this treatment option, he will help you to eliminate your current
problems. This approach is based on the Western medical model of
treating the symptoms only.
Chronic
and Constitutional Treatment
Under this type of approach, you will be treated for your "basic
predisposition" to illness. Dr. Martin will rely more heavily on your
family history and tongue and pulse diagnosis, working holistically to
prevent future health problems from developing. All aspects and
patterns from your current and past health history will be assessed and
treated concurrently. Dr. Martin will work with you to assess which
healing techniques are best suited to your particular problems.
Specialities
Dr. Martin's specialty is the treatment of women's health problems,
including, but not limited to endometriosis, PMS, cysts, fibroids,
cramps and menopause. He also treats skin problems, all types of pain,
immunity and digestive problems. Treating children for most childhood
illnesses, ear, nose and throat infections and behavioral problems is
also a vital part of his practice.
